What do we measure with permission?
We measure page visits and a few actions: clicking an email link, successfully copying our email address, opening product information and following a link to MDB Builder. Clicking an email link does not prove a message was sent. Visiting MDB Builder is not an account registration.
Our measurement code does not send form contents, document contents or email contents. Query parameters and fragments are removed from the page URL before our code sends it to analytics. For Google, we pass only the origin of the referring website.
Which technologies are used?
Google Analytics uses cookies with names beginning with _ga to distinguish visits. Our configuration limits their lifetime to 180 days. Our measurement code does not enable advertising personalisation or Google Signals.
Vercel Web Analytics does not use analytics cookies. We load this analytics service only with your permission too. Both services receive technical request data to provide their service; this is not a promise that no personal data is processed at all.
Analytics retention periods
A cookie lifetime is different from retention by an analytics provider. In our Google Analytics property, event and user data are set to 2 months, without resetting the period with new user activity. These settings do not limit standard reports containing aggregated data.
Vercel describes visitor recognition that expires after 24 hours. Our Vercel Pro plan provides a 12-month reporting window. This window is not a promise that Vercel deletes all data after 12 months.
Saving and withdrawing your choice
We save your choice for up to 180 days in your browser's local storage under bizzbit-analytics-consent-v1. This is needed to remember your choice. You can choose again using Analytics preferences at the bottom of each page.
If you withdraw previous permission, we stop new measurements, remove the Google Analytics cookies set by our configuration and reload the page to unload the measurement code. Withdrawal does not automatically erase data already processed. Email info@bizzbit.com with questions or a request about your data.
Other preferences and privacy information
The website may remember your manually selected language and light or dark theme locally. Those preferences do not provide permission for analytics. Further information about BizzBit's processing of personal data is available in the privacy statement linked in the website footer.
